WHY THE STOCK MARKET MATTERS

  • 15.2% of American families directly own stock.

This does not include American families' stock exposure via a retirement account like a 401k. 52.6% of Americans have stock exposure. Direct stock ownership means you are the share owner, and it is accessible to you for immediate liquidation after the predetermined retirement age, not in the future. Stock exposure via a retirement account does not give you the same power as direct ownership. Someone else is making those decisions for you.

  • The wealthiest 1% directly own 53% of stocks.

  • The wealthiest 10% directly own 88.6% of stocks.

What do they know that we don’t know? Why are we continuously discouraged from owning stocks with warnings that say it is too risky, yet all of our retirement accounts have exposure to stock?

  • White Americans own 89.1% of stocks.

  • Black Americans own 1.1% of stocks.

  • Hispanic Americans own .5% of stocks.

  • Other Americans own 9.3% of stocks.

I get it. It's difficult to start investing when little to no financial literacy is shared in our homes and schools. I must admit that this feels like it is the way it is by design. Not to mention, Latinas are hit the hardest when making money and building generational wealth as we face the most significant disparity in equal pay, coming in at 57 cents for every dollar paid to a white man.

   What is THE STOCK MARKET

In its simplest form, the stock market is a space where we purchase a small portion of a publicly traded company. Warren Buffet refers to this as the opportunity to own a piece of America. If the company has continued success at conducting business, then not only do they make more money, but our investment in that company makes money. Most people feel overwhelmed by what companies to begin investing in. However, we have a strong understanding of what social media apps to use and for what purposes, purchasing the latest tech that helps improve our quality of life or where to purchase high-quality groceries or groceries in bulk. In most cases, the companies we purchase products and services from are publicly traded. At the same time, most people fear the market. It is my belief that we should be fearing not owning the market.

It is time to become owners of the companies we are loyal to verses just being consumers. Let’s take ownership of America.

The American system owns us.

 Wealth Warrior: The Course

Will take place February 24th & 25th. 11 AM to 4PM CENTRAL time.

Wealth Warrior: The Course is formally known as Wealth Rules Everything Around Me.

Wealth Warrior: The Course has been updated and will take place live virtually.

This is the ultimate beginners stock market crash course.

You will be able to join live (check latest available dates and times) with live Q&A.

You will have lifetime access to the course recording, giving you the ability to rewatch the course at any point in time and reference as you experience the market during different seasons, which can dramatically change the experience in the market.

After completing the course as intended, you will have the knowledge to purchase your first stock and begin to develop your inner investor through prepared experience.

This course is designed to make you a self-sufficient investor, not dependent on others investment ideas but to help you build your own.

I have helped over 2,000 students go through my courses and begin to achieve their investing goals and journey toward financial freedom.

This course will help you grasp a high-level understanding of the market, and make you familiar with the market lingo, which can be confusing for most of us.

I have carefully designed this course with the intention to get you started as an investor. I want you to begin your generational wealth-building effectively and efficiently. Start to experience a mind-shift and a change in money perspective now. My intention is to see you and your family win! We need more active investors in this space, modeling what it means to become an investor.

       Money Wounds

This is why we tackle them.

A child's critical brain development starts in the womb through the age of 7. As children of immigrants, we have developed under strained circumstances, fears about obtaining work, and a deep scarcity mindset as every penny mattered and contributed to food on the table and a bill in our homes. For most of us, our understanding of money is misconstrued, making us so much more attached to money emotionally than we need to be. This type of toxic relationship towards money keeps us from being able to use it as the tool it was intended to be.

Part of your investing journey should involve healing.

This is why we have dedicated the first section of the course to money wounds. Many of us don’t even know we have them. There is a lack of understanding that the emotions we feel towards money is toxic and controlling how we live our lives. We tie so much of our emotional happiness to how much we have externally, and once we achieve something externally, we seek another external goal to make us happy. It is a never-ending void. This idea that more money will make us happy is a false belief. While money makes our life so much easier and can produce happiness based on the freedom, experiences, and options it provides, it is the type of relationship we have with money that is important to pay attention to. There is such a thing as a toxic money relationship that can produce so much unhappiness and toxic dependency driving us to do things we hate just to accumulate money. The practice of investing helps us to change this relationship and become self aware of our feelings towards money. As well as the understanding that money creates more money. So much of us have a false understanding that working creates more money. There is a biblical verse that we often misinterpret; Money is the root of all evil. The actual verse is for the love of money is the root of all evil. Meaning doing absolutely anything just for money can lead us toward a very unfulfilling life. The course will not only help you understand how to begin investing in the market but it will begin to shift your relationship with money.

The Power of the Stock Market

  • Every day your money sits in a savings account, it is becoming worth less.

  • The stock market is currently up 27% in July 2023 from its lows in October of 2022.

  • It's what banks do with your money in your savings account.

  • There is no minimum dollar amount required to start investing.

  • We need to not only grow our capital but preserve it.

  • It is what the top 10% do with their money.

  • Investing is the only way we will be able to build generational wealth.

  • Not everybody has great credit and a down payment for a house.

  • You can start as a DACA recipient with an ITIN number.

  • We should have more assets over liabilities; stock is a way to own assets.

  • We need to begin owning the companies we consume.

The Power of This Course

Wealth Warrior: The Course, formally known as Wealth Rules Everything Around Me, is very digestible, making it easy to understand. I created it based on my perspective and level of understanding when I first started investing, which was at ground zero. Honestly, I started at a negative or below ground zero. I am terrible at math, which felt like such an essential factor (it’s not), and then add on my toxic relationship with money and forget about trying to learn the stock market; the concept felt stacked against me. It has become my mission to share my perspective because this is not something that a white man can teach our community; their level of understanding of the market starts in a very different place. Their privilege makes it almost impossible for them to empathize with where we are starting from. That becomes very evident when we examine the disparity between white people who invest and people of color that invest. I have the answers you are looking for with a relatable perspective regarding the start of your stock market journey.

After top literary agent Johanna Castillo and book publisher Krishan Trotman from Hachette Book Group took Wealth Warrior, they approached me with a book deal, and here is what they said based on their experience in taking my course.

"I was so impressed by Linda and her work when I took her class last Fall that I knew immediately that we needed to get her message out into the world! It would be an absolute honor, personally and professionally, to support what she’s doing to empower Latinx, BIPOC, children of immigrants, and all disenfranchised communities in building wealth." -Krishan Trotman, Legacy Lit/ Hachette Book Group.

"This is a book that is desperately needed in the USA, especially with Latinx Spanish language readers, and Linda's Message of developing financial literacy and generational wealth is so needed, and I have no doubt it will find an audience in Spanish, making it required reading." - Edward Benites, Rayo/HarperCollins Español.

The book is being translated into Spanish by HarperCollins for distribution in April 2024. The book is the perfect companion for the course. While the course goes deeper and you get personal contact with me directly, it is the ideal place to start.

"An investment in knowledge pays the

best interest." -Benjamin Franklin

I believe the first and most crucial step to investing is investing in yourself. I witnessed a massive change in my mindset as soon as I started to up-level my content intake. I invested in educators that I resonated with and provided valuable information.

But that wasn't always easy; I was in complete lack mentality and often unable to make the space for money to present itself. I have been homeless, couch surfing with gracious folks. I was in gangs looking for belonging and became a mother at 14, looking for love. I had a secret drug addiction that almost destroyed my life. I grew up with an alcoholic father and a mentally ill mother. I had every reason to give up, and after exhaustion with all the trauma I was facing, I tried to give up. I attempted three times, but I am still here for a reason beyond me.

I believe that when we make space for what we really want in life, we give the Universe an opportunity to deliver it. I believe that when things or experiences are given to us for free, it loses its value and power.

I believe that if you cannot invest in financial literacy with time or money, it will be extremely challenging to start investing in the stock market. I believe this is something that should be worked on first before investing in a course like this.

I understand if, at this point, this is a course that may feel like a stretch to invest in. If you want to take it, set the intention, make the space, and see what happens.

In gratitude,

Linda

Is this only for Latina’s?

This course was created by a Latina, child of immigrants, the teachings are from years of personal experience and the experience is used as a teaching tool. There is a major financial disparity in communities of color. Latinas are currently making 54 cents for every dollar a white man makes in the United States. This means that it takes 1 year and 11 months for a Latina to make what a white man makes. We see investing as a viable aid to build wealth and help with these disparities. If you can identify and or empathize with these issues then we invite you to join.

How long will I have access to the course?

The stock market is continuously evolving, shaping, and reshaping, depending on the climate of the country. We are granting lifetime access however we can’t ensures that the content you receive will not eventually become outdated. Lifetime access will allow you to not only view the course multiple times but also apply what you have learned to your personal experience and move through all 4 quarters of the year.

Do you offer scholarships?

We believe that there is an emotional component that has to be overcome when investing, that not only pertains to the stock market but also toward investments made for our personal betterment or skill improvement. If this emotional component isn’t addressed first, we find that it will be very challenging to begin an investing journey. Meaning if you can’t invest in yourself it will be challenging to invest in the market. We consider making the investment in this program as the first step toward your journey. However, we understand hardships and the invaluable information that is offered via our program. We center scholarships for DACA recipients once a year and offer scholarships open to all POC several times throughout the year via an application process to help us determine needs in our community. Scholarship opportunities are periodically on our social platforms.

If I exercise the payment plan and I pay for the first half of the course, can I keep access to a part of the course?

No, the course can’t be purchased in sections. While we do offer a payment plan if your second half has not been paid by the time the live course takes place then you will be unable to access the course at all.

Who can I contact if I can't find the answers to my questions?
